About
Coach the person, not just the program.
Every athlete brings a different history, temperament, and reason for showing up. The work starts there.
Meet Truman
A complete approach to training.
I hold a bachelor's degree in exercise science and have been an athlete for most of my life. I grew up competing in judo, wrestling, football, and lacrosse, and I've been lifting for years. Today I continue to train in martial arts, where conditioning is everything. Tearing my ACL changed how I saw training. It showed me that strength alone isn't enough, and led me to take mobility and resilience as seriously as I take getting stronger. That combination of formal education and lived experience shapes how I coach: grounded in science, informed by practice. At the heart of it, I coach because I enjoy helping people. My goal is to help each client build a stronger, more capable body through training that is thoughtful, personal, and sustainable.
Philosophy
My Training Philosophy
I believe training should build a body that performs, adapts, and lasts. Too often, people get locked into one way of training. They get very good at one thing but lose the range and creativity to express themselves through movement. That’s why I train the whole athlete across five pillars: strength, athleticism, mobility, endurance, and resilience. I don’t chase trends or complexity for its own sake. I build on fundamentals, track what matters, and adjust as you grow. Most importantly, no two people are coached the same way. Your program is built around who you are, where you’re starting, and what you’re working toward, because bringing out the best in someone means meeting them where they are.
What I believe
Principles over noise.
Structure beats motivation.
Train the whole athlete — not just aesthetics.
